Here are this week’s updates.  Important information below about the information needed from each of you for the state tournament.

•     I’ll be updating the SportsEngine with the game times.

State Tournament (March 2nd to 4th):

  • Thanks for getting back to me on your preference for which state tournament you’d prefer to play in.  Based on the results, we will be playing in the MSF State Tournament on March 2-4 in Buffalo, MN.
  • I need to complete the registration by Jan. 27th, if possible please provide the grade and age verification at one of the two practices this week.  I’ll have the paperwork that requires  your signature this week at practice.

 

Next Steps:

I will need the following;

  1. A parent signature for each player on the  “Player Waiver, Release of Liability, Indemnification Agreement and Official Team Roster”.
  2. I will need proof of grade.  One of the following is sufficient.

FOR GRADE VERIFICATION

1. Computer printout from school with grade indication (copy)

2. Picture I.D. with grade verification (copy)

3. Current report card (copy).

  1. I will need proof of age.  One of the following is sufficient.

FOR AGE VERIFICATION

1. Birth Certificate (copy)

2. Valid Passport (copy)

3. Baptismal Certificate (copy)

4. Picture I.D. with birth date (copy)

Blaine High School Basketball Youth Night (Jan. 26th)

I plan to attend the youth night at Blaine High School boys varsity team and would encourage the team to attend and support them.  Some details below.

  • When:  Friday, Jan. 26th, 2018 @ 7:00 PM at Blaine High School
  • FREE ADMISSION & WRISTBAND for all Blaine Youth Basketball players wearing their Blaine jersey
  • FREE T-SHIRT for the first 150 Blaine Youth Boys Basketball players wearing their Blaine jersey
  • FREE POSTER of JV/Varsity team with player autographs after the game
  • FREE SLICE OF PIZZA for players on the two teams with the largest attendance
  • PRIZES for players that make a half-court shot during half time
