The cornerstone of Blaine Youth Girls Basketball is the commitment and effort of our volunteers!
6-Hour Volunteer Commitment
Parents of all travel players are expected to volunteer 6 hours during the Blaine Youth Girls Tournament which will be held February 17-18. In addition to the registration fee, a volunteer check for $150 will be collected. Checks will not be cashed until the end of the season and ONLY IF you do not fulfill your 6-hour volunteer commitment. We do not want to cash your check! We need volunteers so our goal is to get your time - not your money!
Volunteer shifts for the tournament will be sent to Head Coaches 1 to 2 weeks prior to the tournament weekend. Coaches will work with families to fill all shifts assigned to their respective teams. Every effort is made to schedule team shifts around the player’s game times so that parents and family members can attend all games.
