Each BYB team will have a dedicated website through SportsEngine.  When rostered to a team, your player will automatically be set up in their team website.  Coaches, parents and care-givers can use the SportsEngine App for schedule updates and team communication.  A direct feed is also available for team practices and events into your electronic calendar.  For more information on how to find and use this App on iOS or Android, please click here.

Our in-house program is part of the Northern Twin Cities Basketball League. 

Games are hosted by the communities in the league with most of our games played at Blaine, Anoka, and Spring Lake Park schools.

Teams typically have 1-2 practices a week and one or two games on weekends.  Practices start mid-October, games start in late-October. There will be no games Thanksgiving weekend.

There are 12 regular-season games. In addition:

• Grades 3-8 have an end-of-year tournament in mid-December.  Season is completed before Christmas break.
• Grade 2 has skill sessions and Blaine-only game play in January.

To ensure teams are as even and competitive as possible, buddy requests are limited to 2-3 players per registration.
