Session 1 (10/26 - 11/23) - K-1 Skills Fundamentals
WHAT: Great introduction for K-1 boys & girls!
- 5 weeks of skills focused on ball handling, dribbling, passing, defense, shooting, games!
- Experienced Coaches provided for all drills & sessions
- 6.5 - 8 ft hoop heights
WHERE: Sunrise Elementary Gymnasium
WHEN: Saturday Mornings 2024 (10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23)
- K Girls & Boys (9 - 10AM)
- 1st Grade Girls & Boys (10:10 - 11:10AM)
- 2nd* Grade Boys (11:20am - 12:20PM)
*Must be registered for the Boys In-House 2024-25 Grade 2 Season to participate in this pre-season prep session.
**Session 1 includes Grade 2 BOYS only because the Girls Grade 2 In-House season happens at the same time.
COST: $60, Bengals Swag included!
*Grade 2 boys are free with a Boys In-House Grade 2 Season Registration and will not register for these pre-season sessions separately.
Session 2 (1/4-2/1) - K-1 Boys & K-2 Girls Team Practice/Game Play
WHAT: An opportunity for K-1 boys & K-2 girls to take the next step building off of skills to game play.
- 5 weeks of combined practice & game play
- Volunteer parent coaches needed, 1 Hr commitment each week (50% fee refunded after the sessions end for approved volunteers - please email BYB for details)
- Format will have 1 hr to learn a new concept of the game, then moved in to game play, and end with team skill based contests
- Entire time will be guided with coach support!
- 6.5 - 8ft hoops, smaller court size to get the feel of a game
WHERE: Sunrise Elementary Gymnasium
WHEN: Saturday Mornings 2025 (1/4, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1)
- K-2nd* Girls (9-10am)
- K Boys (10:10 - 11:10am)
- 1st Boys (11:20am - 12:20pm)
*Extension of the Grade 2 In-House season for Girls Players who were registered and played on a 2nd grade In-House team in fall 2024.
**Session 2 includes Grade 2 GIRLS only because the Boys Grade 2 In-House season happens at the same time.
COST: $60, Jersey Provided!
*Grade 2 girls are free with a Girls In-House Grade 2 Season Registration and will not register for these post-season sessions separately.
