Girls 1,200 Minute Club

Blaine Youth Basketball

1,200 Minute Club
For all Girls entering grades 2-8
May 1st - September 4th, 2017

To All Girls Players:

Congratulations on your 2017-18 basketball season. We are very excited with the progress that you have made, and are excited about the future of Blaine Bengal Basketball!

Preparation for the next basketball season starts now! From now until the start of next season is a great time to be working on your weaknesses and becoming a better player.
Great basketball players are not born, they are made!

We are challenging each of you from May 1st until September 4th to join the 1,200 minute club. To become a member of the club, you will need to record at least 1,200 minutes practicing skills in the following areas:
  • Shooting
  • Dribbling
  • Passing
  • Agility

Players track the minutes when they are doing basketball related activities. Prizes will be awarded monthly to the players with the most minutes, and awards will be given to all players who reach the goal of 1,200 minutes by the end of the summer!

You have two options to track your minutes - online using your player's Google Drive, or print a copy and email a photo of your monthly totals to Blaine Youth Basketball.

1. Track minutes via Google Drive (Recommended):
Submit a copy of the tracking sheet you created in your Google Drive account or your child's Google Drive account (All Anoka-Hennepin students have a Google Drive account!)

To submit your form to Blaine Youth Basketball, follow the steps below:

1. Once you have created a copy of the tracking sheet in your Google Drive, click on the blue share button in the upper right corner,  click "advanced", and then click on the blue word "change" to switch the sharing settings to "allow anyone with the link" to view your file.

2. Fill out our Google registration form with your player's information and copy and paste the URL of the players tracking sheet you created in your Google Drive into the form.  Then submit the form.

Now you or your player can track their own minute totals online. Your totals will be automatically seen by Blaine Youth Basketball!    Don't stress - players use Google Drive all of the time in school, they will be able to help!

2. Track minutes via paper:
Print a copy of the tracking sheet. Track your minutes on the 1200 minute club tracking sheet each month and email a picture or copy of the sheet by the 5th of each month to:
