Our club runs on volunteers.  The BYBB believes volunteer coaches are committed to the program and player development.  We need coaches at all levels.  If you are interested in being a head coach, or assistant coach for our Boys program, please fill out our Coach Application.

Traveling coaches are encouraged to have a Team Manager to assist in administrative parts of the basketball season.   If you are interested, please contact your Head Coach after teams are formed.

In addition, there are other opportunities during the season (for example, some tournaments require a score-keeper from participating teams).  Our program does not charge a volunteering fee up front because we have had great participation from our members.

Please save-the-date:
All traveling families are expected to volunteer at the Blaine Boys Tournament, January 13 & 14, 2024.  Specific time commitments and volunteer assignments will be communicated shortly before the tournament.  Opportunities may include set-up, admissions, concessions, score keeping, time keeping, and general clean-up.

We do not have a volunteer buyout program because our BYB parents have been committed and filled these shifts easily in the past.
