The cornerstone of Blaine Youth Girls Basketball is the commitment and effort of our volunteers!

We are an organization dependent upon volunteers to run successfully.  We estimate this to take about six hours per family (excluding coaches).  Most of these hours will be needed at the tournament we host in February.  Any other opportunities would be announced via a program wide email.  All volunteer opportunities, for the tournament and otherwise, would be claimed via the Dibs function within our program website.

We do not require a deposit check from families for the volunteer function.  No action is required for families who intend to volunteer at this point.  However, if you end up not fulfilling the expected volunteer requirement by our February Tournament, you will be invoiced $300 after our tournament.

If you already know that you do not intend to volunteer, you have the option to buy out your volunteer agreement for $250 as part of the season registration process.
