Girls FUNdamentals (Grades K-1)

    Program Offerings Fall & Winter for Girls K-1

    Session 2 (1/7-2/11) - K-1 Boys and K-2 Girls Team Practice/Game Play

    WHAT: An opportunity for K-1 boys & K-2 girls* to take the next step building off of skills to game play.
    *This session occurs during the boys grade 2 In-House season and only offered to K-1 boys.  It is available for K-1 girls and as a follow-up for post-season 2nd grade girls who want to continue to play.

    • 6 weeks of combined practice & game play
    • Volunteer parent coaches needed, 1 Hr commitment (up to 50% Session 2 Fee refunded)
    • Teams will have 1 hr for some initial practice, then game play, and end with team skill based contests
      • Entire time will be guided for coach support!
    • 8 ft hoops, smaller court size to get the feel of a game

    WHERE: Sunrise Elementary Gymnasium

    WHEN: Sunday Afternoons 2024 (1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11)

    Division Times:

    • K-2 Girls (12:40-1:40pm)
    • K Boys (1:50-2:50pm)
    • 1st Boys (3-4pm)

    COST: $100, Jersey Provided!

     

    The Registration "Girls FUNdamentals (Grades K-1)" is not currently available.

    K-2 Boys & Girls Crunch Academy Skills Night Details

    What: Join CRUNCH and the Timberwolves Skills Academy team in a fun night kicking off the upcoming BYB Basketball season. Kids will be introduced and given the opportunity to develop all the basic fundamentals of basketball such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense all while being along side CRUNCH! 

    This event comes with a photo opportunity with Crunch, a T-shirt, AND a great environment to introduce or continue your child’s experience with basketball!  

    There will be additional registration information available for all BYB season offerings that night as well.

    Who: Blaine Boys and Girls in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade

    Where: Blaine High School Gym

    When: Friday, October 13th, 2023

    Time: 6-7 PM Skills, Photo w/ Crunch after!

    Cost: $35 per child

    What to Bring: 27.5 size basketball!

    WHEN: Saturday Mornings 2023 (10/28, 11/4 [no session - site unavailable], 11/11, 11/18, new date 12/2)

    • K-1 Girls (8:40 - 9:40 AM) Girls Make-up date TBD
    • K-1 Boys (9:50 - 10:50 AM)
    • 2nd Grade Boys (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
